The service
StarsOut is a free service. It provides weather-based stargazing scores and optional daily email alerts to help you find clear skies.
Scores are estimates
Stargazing scores are calculated from weather data (Open-Meteo) and astronomical calculations. They are estimates, not guarantees. Actual sky conditions may differ.
Service availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue StarsOut at any time, with or without notice.
Your responsibilities
To receive email alerts, you must provide a valid email address. We reserve the right to remove accounts that abuse the service.
No warranty
StarsOut is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
StarsOut is not liable for any decisions made based on StarsOut scores or alerts. Use the information at your own discretion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
